1. BridgesRecently opened and quickly became my favorite spot for celebrating everyday life! Perfect for dates and just-because moments.
2. Public Records My story with PR started long before I joined the team. It was actually the first place Vasily showed me when we moved to NYC. Internationally recognized for music programming, it’s also home to several bars, a plant-based restaurant, and community events.
In short: you can join the running club at 7 AM, brunch afterward, stay for dinner at 6 PM, grab my favorite mezcal cocktail at the Upstairs bar while selectors spin vinyl, then head into the main club night at 11 PM—and suddenly it’s 4 AM!
3. Cervo’sEverything about this seafood spot on the Lower East Side is perfect, especially outdoor seating in summer. Their sister restaurant, The Fly, is a Brooklyn neighborhood favorite with a simple but unbeatable menu: half or whole roast chicken, the best Caesar salad, and potatoes. What else do you need?! If you have no time to cook dinner [i never have!] -- bring your friends here!
4. OdeonA true New York classic. I’ve always loved it, but only recently started to adore it even more—especially when seeing it through the eyes of someone I love.
5. St. JardimI have a long history with this place. Back when I worked nearby, I would pass it every morning. By day, it’s a cozy café with coffee, matcha, legendary La Cara pastries, and a small but perfect breakfast menu. By night, it transforms into a wine bar with an equally thoughtful, even more elegant menu.
6. Bar Tar TarA pop-up project run by my friendand chef
Niv. His food truly sends you to heaven. Follow his tartare story—I hope one day he’ll be touring the world!
7. Dim Sum Go GoEasy to miss from the street, but step inside and you’ll find a Michelin Guide favorite since around 2015. A busy, unpretentious dim sum restaurant with white tablecloths and incredible food.
8. SorateMy favorite matcha place. Honestly, just try everything on the menu!
9. Hudson WildeMy go-to for gifts and everyday living essentials, all created and designed by my friend Conway. But it’s more than just a store—it’s a community space where the team celebrates all things design.
10. BAM [Brooklyn Academy of Music]Beautifully curated programming across film, theater, dance, performance and more.
